Le samedi 30 janvier, l’APAREA organisait une visite de la ville de Rodez, en Aveyron.
\nTrois guides nous ont emmen\u00e9 \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte du patrimoine ruth\u00e9nois : Fernand Peloux nous a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 les origines chr\u00e9tiennes et les saints fondateurs de la cit\u00e9, Guilhem Ferrand a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 pour nous l’\u00e9volution de la ville au Moyen \u00c2ge, en mettant l’accent sur les oppositions entre le bourg et le cit\u00e9, enfin, Ana\u00efs Comet et Guilhem nous ont fait d\u00e9couvrir la cath\u00e9drale de Rodez et son imposant clocher.
\nApr\u00e8s une pause gastronomique bien m\u00e9rit\u00e9e, l’apr\u00e8s-midi s’est poursuivi au mus\u00e9e Fenaille, o\u00f9 nous avons pu contempler de superbes statues-menhirs du 3e mill\u00e9nai
\nre avant notre \u00e8re, ainsi que d’autres vestiges de l’occupation de la r\u00e9gion depuis la Pr\u00e9histoire jusqu’\u00e0 l’\u00e9poque moderne.
