Cette conf\u00e9rence, qui aura lieu\u00a0le dimanche 20 octobre, \u00e0 15h, \u00e0 l\u2019Abbaye de Flaran, est organis\u00e9e par la Conservation d\u00e9partementale du patrimoine et des mus\u00e9es du Conseil g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Gers et l\u2019Association des Amis de Flaran, en partenariat avec le Conseil R\u00e9gional de Midi-Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es et l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Toulouse II \u2013 le Mirail.<\/p>\n
Cette pr\u00e9sentation porte sur la th\u00e9matique des fortifications villageoises gersoises. La plupart d\u2019entre elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9difi\u00e9es entre le XIIIe et le XVe si\u00e8cle. Dans certains cas, des textes m\u00e9di\u00e9vaux sont conserv\u00e9s donnant de pr\u00e9cieuses indications sur la construction de ces fortifications, sur leur entretien et sur leur utilisation. Cette conf\u00e9rence a pour objectif de mettre en regard les vestiges b\u00e2tis inventori\u00e9s avec ces sources \u00e9crites.
