Au c\u0153ur des Gorges de l\u2019Ard\u00e8che, les vestiges d\u2019un \u00e9tablissement monastique anonyme ont largement nourri l\u2019imaginaire collectif autour de la pr\u00e9sence des Templiers venus chercher refuge dans ce terroir r\u00e9put\u00e9 hostile. Situ\u00e9 aux confins des dioc\u00e8ses m\u00e9di\u00e9vaux de Viviers et d\u2019Uz\u00e8s, les vestiges de ce complexe architectural sont dans un \u00e9tat de conservation exceptionnel. Ces investigations, soutenues par le Syndicat de Gestion des Gorges de l\u2019Ard\u00e8che dans sa politique de mise en valeur du patrimoine, entrent dans un cadre plus large de recherches men\u00e9es sur les espaces marginaux m\u00e9di\u00e9vaux non appr\u00e9hend\u00e9s par l\u2019arch\u00e9ologie pr\u00e9ventive. Cette troisi\u00e8me campagne de fouilles va s\u2019attacher \u00e0 compl\u00e9ter les donn\u00e9es sur la chronologie relative des \u00e9difices par l\u2019extension des fen\u00eatres arch\u00e9ologiques d\u00e9j\u00e0 ouvertes et par l\u2019implantation de nouveaux sondages. Le secteur fun\u00e9raire sera \u00e0 nouveau appr\u00e9hend\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019intervention du laboratoire d\u2019anthropologie de Marseille.<\/p>\n
