En effet, bien qu\u2019au niveau exp\u00e9rimental la forte proportion d\u2019os calcin\u00e9s soit caract\u00e9ristique d\u2019une utilisation des restes osseux comme combustible, leur repr\u00e9sentation en milieu arch\u00e9ologique est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement faible notamment par rapport \u00e0 celle des \u00e9l\u00e9ments br\u00fbl\u00e9s moins intens\u00e9ment. \u00c0 l\u2019inverse de ce principe g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, le gisement de Saint-Antoine t\u00e9moigne d\u2019une forte repr\u00e9sentation des os calcin\u00e9s dans un contexte taphonomique difficile caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par un s\u00e9diment acide et par l\u2019action forte de diff\u00e9rents ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes taphonomiques (<em>weathering<\/em>, compaction du s\u00e9diment, dissolution).
