Elle est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement mobilis\u00e9e pour \u00e9voquer le statut du malade en perte d&rsquo;autonomie et pour souligner l&rsquo;importance d&rsquo;une posture bienveillante de la part du soignant. Cependant, l&rsquo;approche th\u00e9orique qui tend \u00e0 tirer de cette notion une morale spontan\u00e9e, une bont\u00e9 simplement intrins\u00e8que au soin, ne semble pas satisfaire \u00e0 un examen rigoureux.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-bodoni-moda-font-family\">Qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agisse du grand pr\u00e9matur\u00e9, du malade chronique, de la personne r\u00e9anim\u00e9e ou en fin de vie, la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 se pr\u00e9sente comme le signe de la pr\u00e9carit\u00e9 de la vitalit\u00e9, de la proximit\u00e9 de la mort et donne toute sa signification \u00e0 la dimension technique du geste soignant. La notion de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 ouvre une r\u00e9flexion sur la temporalit\u00e9 subjective et sur le regard port\u00e9 sur l\u2019ext\u00e9riorit\u00e9 du corps douloureux. Et \u00e0 travers ces th\u00e8mes la situation du soignant, soumis quotidiennement \u00e0 la d\u00e9tresse et \u00e0 l&rsquo;angoisse des patients et de leurs proches, et dont la pratique est soumise aux attentes et aux exigences de l&rsquo;institution, peut \u00eatre interrog\u00e9e.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-bodoni-moda-font-family\">Non seulement il para\u00eet impossible de former un savoir sur la souffrance de l\u2019autre, mais il est du m\u00eame coup impossible d\u2019acc\u00e9der au v\u00e9cu de cette douleur v\u00e9cue dans le temps, dans l&rsquo;espace et dans les interactions sociales. La relation de soin ne consiste ainsi ni dans une relation univoque reposant sur le savoir technique, ni sur une composition relevant exclusivement du ressenti. L\u2019engagement dans le soin appara\u00eet comme un mixte du neutre et du personnel qui donne de la place du soignant une vision oxymorique, \u00e0 la fois technicienne et enveloppante, experte et vuln\u00e9rable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-bodoni-moda-font-family\">\u00c0 l&rsquo;occasion de ce colloque pluridisciplinaire, nous souhaitons mobiliser des chercheurs de diff\u00e9rents pays et de diff\u00e9rents horizons culturels en sciences humaines et sociales (droit, bio\u00e9thique, philosophie, sociologie, sciences de l\u2019\u00e9ducation et de la formation\u2026) et des professionnels de la sant\u00e9 pour porter un regard nouveau sur la notion de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9, la confronter \u00e0 des situations cliniques actuelles et, plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, donner \u00e0 entendre des perspectives sur la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 issues de l&rsquo;observation et de l&rsquo;analyse dans le champ du soin et de l&rsquo;accompagnement. La vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 est-elle l\u2019expression d\u2019une faiblesse, d\u2019une d\u00e9faillance ou bien une tension fondamentale qui traverse toute relation ? Entre l\u2019incidence du contact de l\u2019autre et la ma\u00eetrise technique, la sc\u00e8ne de soin appara\u00eet comme un d\u00e9passement des limites sociales et des limites individuelles notamment parce qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;appuie sur la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 et sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de lui r\u00e9pondre. However, it often serves as a foundation for research in healthcare ethics and the humanities. Typically, vulnerability is used to characterize a patient\u2019s diminished autonomy and to stress the importance of a compassionate approach on the part of the caregiver. A closer look, nevertheless, reveals a lack of support for the theoretical perspective that is deriving from the idea of an innate and impulsive morality, a kindness that seems to be fundamentally linked to care.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether we are talking about an extremely premature baby, a chronic patient, a person undergoing resuscitation, or a person at the end of life, vulnerability is a sign of the precariousness of vitality and the proximity of death, and it gives full meaning to the technical dimension of the caring gesture. It provides significance to the technical aspects of caregiving. The concept of vulnerability helps to consider subjective temporality and to perceive the exteriority of the painful body. The caregiver\u2019s role is challenged by daily exposure to the distress and anxiety of patients and their families, coupled with institutional expectations and demands.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access to knowledge about the suffering of others and their experience of pain is difficult both in terms of time, space and social interaction. The caring relationship is not, therefore, a clear-cut link based on technical knowledge, nor is it based on feelings alone. It manifests as a combination of impersonal and personal elements, resulting in a paradoxical perception for the caregiver, who occupies a position that is both specialized and supportive, skilled and vulnerable.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This interdisciplinary conference aims to mobilize researchers from different countries and cultural contexts in the fields of humanities and social sciences&nbsp;(bioethics, philosophy, sociology, education and training sciences\u2026) and health professionals to re-examine the concept of vulnerability, to analyze it in the context of current clinical situations, and to provide insights into vulnerability from observation and analysis in the field of care and support. Does vulnerability indicate weakness or failure? Is it a fundamental tension that permeates all interactions? The field of healthcare appears to transcend social and individual boundaries, thought, interpersonal interaction, and technical competence, mainly because it is rooted in vulnerability and the obligation to deal with it.
