C.E. Harris is a Ph.D. candidate in Cinema & Visual Studies at Université de Paris, affiliated with the CERILAC and LARCA research laboratories and laureate of the Initiatives d’excellence doctoral fellowship. Currently working on a thesis entitled “Spatiality and Mise-en-scène in Dematerialized Digital Cinema,” Harris is interested in film philosophy, aesthetics, intermediality, digital materiality, and the relationship between science and the arts in the digital age.
