International Course in Latin Linguistics
Université de Toulouse 2, June 7-8, 2015
For the first time a special course will be organized, preceding the 18th International Colloquium on Latin Linguistics, which is intended for young scholars who are preparing a doctoral dissertation in the field or have just finished it.
The course will be directed by professor Harm PINKSTER (University of Amsterdam) with the cooperation of professor Caroline KROON (Free University at Amsterdam) and professor Christian LEHMANN (University of Erfurt). The topics to be dealt with this time are Syntax, Discourse, and Typology (following the order of the persons just mentioned).
Participants are expected to prepare the course by studying material that is relevant to the course and by performing research activities during the course. Those who have performed well will receive a certificate which they may use for their doctoral program at home.
The organizers of the Colloquium will provide facilities on conditions yet to be determined. Further details will be sent to those who have indeed applied.
Those who are interested must apply through the application form below at the latest before April 1, 2015. The application needs to be supported by the thesis supervisor, who is asked to send a letter of support by email to the organizers of the Colloquium (latling at tlse2.fr).
Inscriptions are closed.
