Colloque – Bodies of Thought : Fleshy Subjects, Embodied Minds, & Human Natures

Confirmed Keynote Speakers: Dr Christine Battersby (Reader Emerita in Philosophy, University of Warwick) Professor Susan Oyama (Professor Emerita ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emeritus ) in Psychology, John Jay College ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Jay_College ) and CUNY Graduate Center ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CUNY_Graduate_Center ), New York ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York )) Professor Michael Wheeler (Professor of Philosophy, University of Stirling).
The aim of this event is to foster a dialogue between researchers in feminist philosophy working on debates around the body, and researchers in recent philosophy of the cognitive and biological sciences, particularly those with interests in embodied cognition and the extended mind.
